Creating a light filled open living space was the vision behind this renovation. We worked alongside our clients Architects’, Stephen Jones Architects, to design cabinetry that would make use of the high ceilings while also connecting the areas within the living spaces. The simplicity of white cabinetry in the kitchen was offset by white finger tiles, while ghost grey oak veneer features on a wall of tall cabinetry to provide texture and warmth.

Kitchen cabinetry flows naturally into a bench seat below a large feature window that allows the family to bathe in the late afternoon sun. Across the room another bench seat sits beneath the large bi-fold windows that looks out to the new, inviting swimming pool. Soft rounded corners feature throughout the homes new interiors to replicate the original first step in the hallway stairs and to relieve the harder cabinetry lines.
Drawing on an original stain glass window in the laundry and our clients love of nature inside we introduced punches of forest green to provide glimpses of joyful energy throughout.
